We had a microburst in our area last night. You maybe asking yourself “what the fuck is a microburst??” Well it’s an AZ thing … kinda like Haboob. Side note: Haboob is not what a woman with a large rack gets when wearing a sports bra.
So what is a microburst? Think of a microburst like the beginning of a tornado that just explodes instead of extending upward and traveling for miles. It’s like a mini wind bomb filled with rain and hail. 💥 I know some of you midwesterners are giggling because tornados are second nature (I was born in Missouri) but trust me when I say … microbursts are sneaky mother fuckers. No warning. No sirens. No weather alerts. It just fucking happens and quick.
The tree next to my bedroom window almost helped itself right into my apartment. The hail started and it was crazy. I haven’t fully inspected my car but I can tell you it chipped paint off of the sides of both our business. Our front entry way was sitting in water and supposedly … it’s suppose to get crazier today??
When someone said the Storm Chasers were in town. I didn’t believe it.. I called bullshit. Quickly I went to Reed Timmer’s YouTube Channel and sure as shit… he’s here! The fucking Dominator is here!?! I have always had a fascination with storm chasing. It’s on my Top 5 jobs I want to have before i retire from the earth.

A crazy storm brings out a lot of things Downtown. Humidity, flooding, ghosts acting up, un-housed people trying to get into your place and doing crazy things, losing money cancelling our tours, and driving customers away. Currently, the only people waking around are the ones that are picking up lunch before the next batch of storms roll in.
We’re hearing that the next set of storms are worse. Great! I’m in a building built in 1910. Let me just be in here as a tornado rips through. My cats are gonna be pissed if I die and no one has given them dinner yet🙄
But… Arizona weather is a hot mess and could change its mind at anytime. So who knows what could happen??
Our second location did take on a significant amount of water and is currently being sand bagged as I type this. Our main location took on just a little water but the security footage from last night was WILD! (See below)
Well… I’m gonna hold down the fort here and prepare for madness. I love it actually and I have coloring books and playlists ready just in case the power goes out or it’s just me, myself, and I during this storm 😂
Wish us luck here in AZ. Who knows… maybe Reed and the Dominator will drive through downtown 😂 that would be fucking rad!
