It’s lightening out and I couldn’t be happier. I just arrived at my usual Trader Joe’s and before I go in to blow my money on the latest “fall finds”, I’m just taking in the lightening show. Will it be raining as I leave the store? Possibly. But.. there is just something about a good lightening show that makes me happy.

Today was heavy so I welcome this little blip of happiness. We are facing a cross road with our business. All though I wish it was a Brittany Spears kinda cross road, this one is a bit trickier. Options: sever ties with a company and take a gigantic leap of faiths, do all that and dive into two separate entities of business, the last one … stay on course while being manipulated by a corporation that has tried to intimidate and downplay our skills (because we are the only one there without a penis) The answer should be clear but there is a lot of fear. We’ll be losing a good chunk of money end gambling on a new adventure all while running our location… and this would take more man power which means we would need to have the means to support ourselves, our business, and hire on more people. It’s been a lot . I’ve been on conference calls all day from California to Florida talking to different business entities .

My brain hurts.

But on the bright side… our little business was just awarded The Best of Phoenix by Phoenix New Times. We’ve been on the list twice now and I can’t help but to feel a little sappy about that. I’m proud of what we have built and thankful to have a great support system. It’s very cool and we are very grateful. The city is coming in Thursday to interview us and that feels really good .

My anxiety is through the roof about making decisions . We have a morning meeting tomorrow and I feel like I have a billion ideas and a billion worries. I’m just not sure if we can manage all this. It will be a lot… and it’s not really been done before in our area.

I dunno.

Well it’s now officially raining and I’m still sitting in my car. I better shake a tail feather and get on there. Trader Joe’s is calling my name.
